- Databases by Subject (lists suggested indexes appropriate for selected subjects)
- Print Indexes (located in the Waterfield Reference Room; some subjects that are not covered well in the electronic indexes will require use of a print index)

- Each database will offer an advanced search.

- Use the variety of limits offered under these search windows. (Suggestion: for most academic research, limit either to "scholarly", "peer-reviewed", or simply "journal" in the limits area.)
