dot New laptops for checkout.  The library’s laptop collection is bigger this year.  Mac people?  We have them.  
dot Need your schedule?  Print your fall schedule from MyGate, for free, at the terminal near the Information Desk.  
dot Henry Clay welcomes new faculty to MSU. Kentucky Humanities Council Chautauqua performance in Pogue Library, August 13th, featuring George McGee.  
dot Heard about the plans for a new library?  Take a look at the FAQ page on these plans.  
dot Need a snack or cool drink?  The library’s coffee shop is open until 10:30 p.m. Sunday – Thursday.  
dot Need a cool quiet place to get a jump on that homework?  The library is divided into study “areas” now.  Green, yellow, red areas.  Look for the signs.  
dot Textbooks on Reserve.  30 of the most used textbooks are on reserve now, thanks to the University bookstore.  In-library use only!  
dot New Library?  Does this mean a tuition raise to build it?!  No. Buildings are not built with tuition money.  Tuition helps support daily operating funds, not capital expenses.  
dot Waterfield Wired.  Get Your Game On!  First ever game night at the library for new freshmen.  During Great Beginnings.  
dot New books.  Watch the New Books table near the Information Desk.  New titles every week during the year.  Check’m out and then check’m out!  
dot Library on Bb.  Having assignment problems?  Library on Bb is designed to help you find materials by subject.  
dot History Students!  The American Periodicals Series, 1790-1920 is online now.  No more little yellow microfilm boxes!   
dot New Library?  Why don’t we just renovate Waterfield?  Among other things, cost.  The electrical updates, structural reinforcement and other renovations are cost-prohibitive.  
dot Looking for your favorite library page?  Use Quicklinks on the left sidebar for the most popular sites.  
dot Freshman English Students.  The Ned Vizzini resource page will give you help completing that project on the Freshman Reading Experience novel.   
dot Need help with an assignment?  Email your subject librarian directly.   
dot Using microfilm?  New digital reader/printers allow you to download to flash, or email to yourself.  
dot Where’s the DVD’s?  The Media Collection has moved upstairs.  Ask for directions at the information desk.  
dot Coming soon, MSU’s Copy Center moves to the library.  Expected by the end of fall semester, the Copy Center will be found downstairs at the library.
