Computer and Technology Use Policies

Waterfield Library strives to meet students’ technological needs by providing the following:

Computer labs housing 60 desktop computers and 2 scanners

Laptops for checkout with a current Murray State ID - Checkout is for 2 hour time periods, for use in Waterfield Library ONLY

29 laptops (including 3 Mac laptops)

6 tablet PCs

Wireless connectivity for personal laptops

Printing

Laser printers are located in the main lobby of Waterfield Library

Printers print from Waterfield laptop and desktop computers

Print from your own storage media, library databases, or the Internet

Cost is $.10 per Black & White page $.30 per color page

Copy cards can be purchased in the library

Copy machines

Cost is $.10 per page

Digital reader/printers for microforms

3 reader/printers

Capability to download, print, or email images from microforms

Print to laser printers in main lobby at $.10 per page
