WorldCat Search

  • If you’re looking for a collection of short stories or an anthology, you can search in the white search box for Waterfield’s collection or go to WorldCat Search under “Quick Access”.
  • Under “Quick Access”, click on WorldCat Search. You can search the same way you searched in Academic Search Ultimate. Try searching “Paperhanger” AND “Gay, William” (change that to author phrase field.) It should pull up the collection of stories entitled I Hate to See that Evening Sun Go Down: collected Stories. You’ll notice that it says Murray State University to the right. That means we own it, so you can check it out from our library. If we didn’t own it you could click on the title and then click on the Click for a menu of link options for this item at MSU.A new window will open. and request it from another library through interlibrary loan.
  • To find the call number in our library, go to the library website at https://lib.murraystate.edu/new and search for the title of the book in the white search box.

Interlibrary Loan

  • If MSU library doesn't have what you are looking for, request the item using our Inter Library Loan service. When you click on Interlibrary Loan Request, it will fill out the form for you, after you log-in with your MyGate log-in.
  • Under “Quick Access”, click on WorldCat Search. You can search the same way you searched in Academic Search Ultimate.   • Books generally take two to three weeks to arrive. You’ll receive an email. You can pick it up from the Circulation Desk.
