Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity and Access

Murray State's Institutional Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA) Office works to ensure that the university makes a good faith effort at providing a working and learning environment that is welcoming of diversity and  free from discrimination and harassment. Applicants for employment, employees, and prospective and enrolled students of the university are protected against discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, and sexual orientation.

Office of Multicultural Affairs

The mission of Murray State's Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) is to advocate and encourage a campus environment that embraces diversity and helps students grow personally and academically. Our programs and services are designed to address the curricular and co-curricular needs of our multicultural student population, to help them adjust to campus life and enjoy a successful college career. The Office seeks to enhance the retention, success, and graduation rates for multicultural students at Murray State University.
