Scope and Content: Collection consists of a single page letter to Ammi Harrison of New Haven, Connecticut from Henry Clay of Washington, D. C. dated February 24, 1834. The letter thanks Harrison for a patriotic song he wrote and sent to Clay. He also writes “the times are out of joint, and all sorts of aid and cooperation are necessary to secure the greatest interest of the Union.”
