The majority of the newspaper articles date from the time of the First World War to the early 1920s. The clippings are of wedding announcements, obituaries and significant events that occurred in Trigg County during the first few decades of the 20th Century. Included in the scrapbook are short stories, poetry and articles focusing upon the American Civil War.
