Biographical / Historical Information: Adam M. McDonald was born in Dowdville, Mississippi in 1897. He served in World War II as well as spending a year in Korea after the Korean War.
Scope and Content: Collection consists of original letters written by Adam McDonald to his wife, Flora McDonald, during his time in Korea from November 1958 through December 1959. Collection contains various letters written to Adam and Flora while he was home, at different military bases in the United States and overseas. Includes various newspaper clippings from the United States and Korea.
