Biographical / Historical Information: The collection was donated by the daughter of Betty J. Craig via retired Murray State University professor, Reika Ebert. 

Betty J. Craig was born Betty Benckendorf in 1921. In 1962, she married a second time, moved to Phoenix, Arizona and found a job with Motorola. Betty was active in a dance group called "Forever Young Dancers" where she learned dance from the former Radio City Rockette, Twila Stern. The group was based in Scottsdale, Arizona and performed at assisted living facilities and nursing homes as well as some colleges. Betty passed away in 1989 after battling cancer.  

Scope and Content: This collection includes mostly postcards and coins from Denmark and Soviet-era Russia (1987).
