Scope and Content: Collection consists of a photocopied diary kept by Anna L. Diltz of Augusta, Kentucky from January 1, 1862 to May 10, 1863. Her diary entries include community events, family and social activities, attending school, floods, fires and an eyewitness account of a battle at Augusta on September 27, 1862 and its aftermath. Included in the diary are personal literary writings and school assignments.
