Biographical / Historical Information: The Agricultural Wheel of the State of Kentucky was organized to establish an agricultural and horticultural experiment school in Kentucky. It was incorporated on March 4, 1886 at Mayfield, Kentucky. Later that same year, the organization became part of the National Agricultural Wheel at Litchfield, Arkansas. In 1889, the National Agricultural Wheel merged with the National Farmers’ Alliance to form the Farmers’ and Laborers’ Union of America.
Scope and Content: Collection consists of the Articles of Incorporation of the Agricultural Wheel of the State of Kentucky which was recorded at the Graves County courthouse on March 4, 1886.
