Abstract: Lillian Colston discusses the following: lighting in the church; homemade pews; funeral services; digging graves; the funeral hearse; places and modes of baptism; graded Sunday schools; conducting revivals; where evangelists stayed in the community; a typical Sunday service; annual revivals; monthly church services; homecomings; pastors' salaries; Sunday afternoon activities; exclusion of members for drinking; business meetings and how the change of church location helped attendance. She also recalls and discusses all three locations of the Ferguson Springs Baptist Church.

Biographical / Historical note: Lillian Colston was born in 1913 and resided a majority of her life in the Land Between the Lakes region of Kentucky. She was a lifelong member of Ferguson Springs Baptist Church.
