Historical Information: The organization was founded as the Men and Women Christian Association of Murray State Teachers College (presently Murray State University) on June 17, 1928. Prior to that date, the organization was for women only. The Association met weekly during the academic year to discuss religious activities on campus, read scriptures, sing songs and plan community programs and events.
Scope and Content: Collections consists of one ledger containing the meeting minutes of the Christian Association of Murray State Teachers College (presently Murray State University) from 1928 to 1932. Included with the ledger is a list of class excuses for the spring term of 1938.
