Historical Information: Jack Stanfill was a student of Murray State Teachers College from 1931 to 1934. Prior to attending Murray State, he was a resident of Centerville, Tennessee. Stanfill was the Junior Class Vice President in 1934 and varsity football team player from 1931 to 1933. He also was a member of the college’s Allenian and Chemistry Club.
Scope and Content: Collection consists of a 1926 Murray State Normal School yearbook with attached newspaper clippings and ephemera of Murray State Teachers College events from 1931 to 1935. The bulk of the newspaper clippings and ephemera focus upon the activities of the various athletic programs of the college.
