Printing is available from all library computers, with our printing and scanning station located on the main level in between the information desk and reference area. Printing is also available via your own device, such as a laptop, phone, or tablet.
In order to print, you will have to add money to your Print Dollars account. You can add money to your Print Dollars account via the RacerCard Self-Service Portal in MyGate. On the Money tab in MyGate, look for the RacerCard Balances section on the right and click "ACCESS RACERCARD SELF-SERVICE PORTAL." Follow the instructions to log in and use the "Make a Deposit" menu on the left side, and choose "Deposit to Print Dollars." Once the transaction has been completed successfully, your new balance will show up in the portal and on CampusPrint printers. It may take a few minutes for your new balance to load.

Murray State University provides access to a variety of research databases to help users find scholarly sources and other electronic materials.
Below is a sample of databases you can access using your Murray State credentials.
The world's most valuable and comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary database. Indexes newspapers, magazines, and scholarly journals in all disciplines. Contains a significant amount of full-text. Content available from 1915-present.
This is a full-text archive of key academic journals in many disciplines, mostly in the humanities, sciences, and social sciences. Being an archive, it does NOT USUALLY have the current issues of these journals. Most journals have a “lag time” of 2-5 years.
The world's definitive scholarly business database, including articles from peer-reviewed journals, magazines, trade publications, and news sources. Company and industry profiles are also available. Citations available from 1880-present.

GSP students and faculty who wants to create for educational purposes are eligible to use the Makerspace. This may include models for an assignment, research instruments, prototypes of a theoretical design, original arts pieces, or personal learning.
Users must be certified to use some specific pieces of equipment in the Makerspace, including individual certification for the laser cutters, FDM style 3D printers, LCD style 3D resin printers, the sound room, 3D scanner, latex printer, and cameras. Some equipment can be reserved ahead of time and the remainder is first-come-first-served. Smaller items will be checked out for internal use inside the Makerspace or library.
Below is a list of some available equipment. A complete list can be found on the Makerspace page linked above.
Unfortunately, 2D printing will unavailable in the Makerspace this summer.
