Using Academic Search Complete and MasterFILE Premier

Follow the following steps to find magazines on the Cold War via Academic Search Complete.

  1. Type in your search query.
  2. Scroll down to "Published Date," to enter a date range for your search. Example: January 1956 - December 1986.
  3. Scroll down to "Publication Type" and choose "Periodical."
  4. Click "Search."
  5. Scroll down down to "Source Types" which will be on the left side under "Refine Results." Select "Magazines."

Collections at Murray State

Many popular publications have been published in collected editions (books) which the library owns. At Waterfield Library, these can be found on the upper level organized by title. At Pogue Library, they are arranged by call number. Below are print magazine collections located at Waterfield and Pogue Library that have been recommended by instructors teaching the Cold War Era.
